How does it is also the same as some 
button available in some cards?
A configurable button behavior would be great for filtered card. 
?experiment=newRecordButton –> a way to activate it and configure it, should it preset some column based on the filtering preference.
I also posted a dedicated question here.
My attempt creating an Action button, works, but the newly created record is not shown, the card stay at the current record.
