Packaging Grist as an Electron app

It does sound like memory is getting exhausted at some step in the process. I have a vague memory of the Excel import being less efficient on the desktop app for some complicated reason, so it could be that? If sandbox memory usage is the limit you’re hitting, there’s a note on how to turn off sandboxing for the desktop app here:

Hi everyone. It’s great to see so much progress on packaging Grist as an Electron app. I appreciate the tips and solutions shared here. If anyone has more updates or finds on making it work smoothly, especially on older systems like Windows 8, I would love to hear about them.

Hello Grist team.
I think I’m ready for my first custom widget development.
Is it possible to somehow configure the path in GRIST_WIDGET_LIST_URL in desktop app to my local win10 folder with custom widget project for realtime checking what i doing?
