Hi All,
Ever wonder what would Solid Snake actually track on a mission? I tried to answer that with a Metal Gear Solid themed Grist doc: a Tactical Espionage Tracker, styled after Metal Gear Solid’s codec and intel systems.
It has seven linked tables:
-
Missions. Objective, status, debrief notes, and links to everything else.
-
Locations. Every area or facility, with threat level and guard density.
-
Contacts. The codec roster, with frequency and trust level.
-
Targets. Bosses and enemies, with weakness and fight status.
-
Equipment. Weapons and gadgets, tagged by category.
-
Intel. Documents, blueprints, and passwords collected along the way.
-
Alert Log. A timestamped record of alert-state changes during each mission.
There’s also 3 custom dashboards using the vibe widget for the Missions table with a codec/CRT look
