I’m a retired software engineer. i worked for many years on hardware interfaces with minicomputers and then microprocessor based systems. Later in my career I moved on to slightly higher level Unix based systems, but still mostly interfacing etc.

Nowadays I use mostly Python on Linux to write programs for myself.
