Ability to Add New Rows on Top instead of Bottom of a Table

Hello, it would be helpful to have a document-level or table-level setting to control whether new rows are added at the top or the bottom of a table. In my previous experience with database software, new rows were always added at the top, which made it easier to see the latest data first. I think this would be especially useful for business data, where the most recent entries are often the focus.

I’ve added a concept of how that would work in the picture below. Basically the row numbers would be inverted as well and every new row will be added on top.

Yes. Very desired indeed.

I suggest opening an issue on that.

I see the ability to add a new record directly in any ‘table’ or ‘card’ view is a quite redundant subject. Maybe you would be interested by this experimental feature :

It’s not exactly ready to production yet, but it has the benefit to make more visible how to add a new record. For me, it lacks some feature as automatically set active field to the first one on the new record.
