I recently had two ‘bugs’ occur in my document. The first, ‘no paperclip icon in attachment field’ has thankfully been fixed! The other is that I have a text field that requires me to click into it to paste long text info (otherwise, the text is truncated). I used to be able to backspace in the field, much like in Excel cell. Now, nothing happens when I backspace, and I have to use the mouse to double-click the field ‘open’. If this makes sense? It’s hugely inconvenient for my data entry, and I hope it can be fixed soon!
Hi @hbernard.
Hitting Backspace on a cell should clear its contents without opening the cell for editing, and Enter should open it for editing.
There was a change ~3 months ago to the Backspace behavior, specifically in Card and Card List widgets. It used to both clear the contents of the cell, and open it for editing. Is there any chance this was the change you noticed? (The reason for the change was to align the behavior with Table widgets, which have always only cleared the contents of a cell. This should match the behavior in Google Sheets and the cloud version of Excel.)

Yes - this is the change I noticed, particularly in my Card widget. I just tested using ‘Enter’ and it does exactly as I need. THANK YOU!!!
