Character conversion when Importing a csv file is not preserving 8-bit characters

Hi,
I am importing a csv file that has accents and 8-bit characters, the imported information on Grist seems to be doing some sort of conversion. Any suggestions.

For example
Nicolás is imported as NicolÃ¡s
