I really liked the tutorial; this software is impressive—well done.
But I ran into two problems:
- Auto-playing animated GIFs are a real nightmare!
Stop using those awful things—they disrupt the flow of the surrounding text, it’s hard to tell where they start and end, and you can’t pause them.
You need buttons for “Back to Start,” “Previous Image,” and “Next Image” (and if you absolutely want, a play/stop button). - The language discrepancy between the English tutorial and the interface in my native language (which isn’t English).
To make sure I clicked in the right place, I had to strain my eyes on the animated GIFs (see problem 1)
Ideally, the tutorial should be translated, but I think that’s complicated; at the very least, the interface elements in the tutorial should be translated.
Another option would be a button to switch the UI language on the fly between my native language and English.
The last option, and perhaps the simplest, would be to address problem 1.
