I’ve seen this multiple times now. I have 4 or 5 widgets on a page. delete one and it blank where there used be a widget. Its still holds the location of the old widget even though its gone. Then when i try moving the other widgets around it, it messes up the page and i cant even see some of the widgets anymore.
Hi! There was a recent fix related to this. Are you seeing this on getgrist.com or on a self-managed instance?
If on getgrist.com, are you still able to reproduce? I can’t reproduce easily, so if you can make a recording of how to reproduce it, that would help diagnose the issue.
Im using getgrist.com not self hosted. Here is a video of it happening. Ive had it happen in multiple documents and its pretty easy to reproduce: ive kept the video low res to hide the data but you can see the widget space left between the upper card and the three widgets below.

and it gets worse than that. eventually shuffling widgets around on the page completely removes them or hides them somewhere and you cant do anything with them.
