Hi All,
We are managing places ans points of interest (POI) using Grist.
Often, we need to have different views of the same (large) database of places, e.g., by type of POI, by neighborhood, etc.
But the underlying query, the one that gives us the baseline to perform additional queries onto is always the same.
Of course, we duplicate the initial spreadsheet in order to perform other queries on it.
But that way, we end up with a lot of spreadsheets that are NOT linked to each other any longer.
And there comes the main issue: if we want to change the criteria at work in the “parent” spreadsheet, those new criteria do NOT propagate to the “children” spreadsheets.
So, is there a way to generalize queries, maybe in another utility table, in order to always have the same underlying query, in all related spreadsheets?
Thx,
Stephen
