Failed to load API definition

In both hosted and selfhosted instance, I can’t seem to browse the API Console. I’m getting this error:

Fetch error

Failed to fetch https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gristlabs/grist-help/master/api/grist.yml

Fetch error

Possible cross-origin (CORS) issue? The URL origin (https://raw.githubusercontent.com) does not match the page (https://docs.getgrist.com). Check the server returns the correct ‘Access-Control-Allow-*’ headers.

Can’t even seem to access this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gristlabs/grist-help/master/api/grist.yml in the browser.

Hi @deuts, thanks for reporting this. What browser are you using? Is the problem consistent for you across browsers?

Hi @paul-grist tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge on desktop, as well as in Chrome on Android. All returned the same error.

Where are you trying from? What error do you see when accessing this page:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gristlabs/grist-help/master/api/grist.yml

Can you access other github-served files, such as:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/torvalds/linux/refs/heads/master/README
