Hi there,
Congratulations for Grist, this is an amazing tool that we now are using daily in our game studio.
It improved our speed immensely to handle anything related to game data (compared to excel :D).
One thing though that is slightly slowing us down is how hard it is to find the page/table we are looking for in the menu. We have 60+ pages that are organized in a tree but to find a specific page it can take a while as everything is uncollapsed by default and it is not organized alphabetically.
What could really help us is the ability to access wanted pages quickly from a search bar in the left menu to filter the matching pages in a smaller list like what you have in some IDEs.
Very basic example where the list would only show the tables starting with TRAINING
Related improvements would be a button to collape/uncollapse all the sublists, several options to sort the list (custom: how it is right now, alphabetically…)
As for the search feature, it is great to find data but it doesn’t search in table names or columns: that would be amazing to have some way to search for those (maybe in the search bar described above?)
Thanks a lot.
Don’t hesitate if you have questions on our use cases
