Hosting Grist on AWS

Would running grist-omnibus using an EC2 instance and scaling up the amount of memory for that self hosted server allow the data speed to be improved by chance? My document file is reaching almost 170 MB and it is functioning very poorly to the point where basic changes like typing things into a cell is not loading the change.

Some performance problems can be improved for a time by throwing more cpu and memory at them, yes. Some limits are also a function of the browser, and those wouldn’t be helped by changes on the server.

Understood, I have been trying to create an EC2 instance with 16GB ram to see how it functions with the current document I have got. I think it being slow is fine but recently my document have been crashing for myself and my collogues which has been the main issue.
