Hello! I am loving how Grist brings together several awesome tools. I am trying to use my notes similar to Evernote…one thing I am struggling with is pasting pictures into notes. The normal CTRL+V pasting doesnt work…I saw a post about doing something like the below, but how do I access the “assets” folder using the cloud-hosted version? The “Home Dashboard” doesnt seem to have the concept of Folders and has no “Create Folder” option.
Thx!! Steve French.
Hmmm I cannot edit the above post, I would like to clarify the technique that I tried to use in the note:

You are right, this isn’t quite supported. Grist actually has several ways for markdown / rich-text notes: the “Markdown” custom widget, the “Notepad” custom widget, and the recent “Markdown” cell formatting style. Of these, “Markdown” custom widget supports images with the syntax you describe, but only for images hosted externally (if you have the absolute URL), and “Notepad” is the only one that allows inserting images into the document. The downside of the last one (why I say “isn’t quite supported”) is that the image ends up being encoded into the text of the cell, and can easily make cells huge, and degrade the performance of the whole document. So, YMMV.
