I got error
Error accessing document
You can try reloading the document or using recovery mode. Recovery mode opens the document to be fully accessible to owners and inaccessible to others. It also disables formulas. [Invalid, duplicate default rule for HeckIn_Guest]

this happens after I change some rule access. now I can’t access my document.
Also, I tried to enter the reload, but it did not work, and I got the same thing.

for curiosity… what happened when you used recovery mode?

it says it opens all document to the owner. Aren´t you the owner? Then in theory you can remove the access rule.

I mean, you said you tried to reload the document, but you didn´t mention your try at Recovery Mode.

@Nantipat_Tullwattana - thank you so much for your patience as I was out yesterday afternoon and didn’t see you had added support to the document. Our dev team dug into this to see what the issue was (and why ‘Recovery Mode’ wasn’t working). A duplicate access control entry was somehow added to the doc, causing the error. They removed the duplicate and now the document is accessible once again. Our team is looking into how the duplicate was added to ensure it doesn’t happen again in the future.

Hi Natalie,
thank you for helping me, it’s working now, let me explain in more detail (hope this helps you fix the issue in the future) why I got this error.

  1. I try to add a rule on my table then I select some columns and add some conditions (I playground for learning)
  2. I checked Default Rules: When adding a table rule, automatically add the rule to grant OWNER full access
  3. I see a popup warning error about file: buddle (seems like cache)
  4. I refresh the page (Getgrist) for a reason maybe I can fix of struggle caching
  5. I got an Error accessing the document and can’t recover mode (I entered for recovery and not working)
