Possible to have multiple line text in a column only show the first line?

I have a very simple table with rows for organizations and columns of information about the organizations.

But the last column may have a number of lines (with line breaks) with notes that I make as I work with an organization.

In the table where I have a few dozen organizations, instead of the rows being 1/4 of an inch high, they’re like 3 inches high because of the lines of notes in the final column. It’s less easy to scroll through this table looking at the different names of organizations.

Is there some way to get the final column with my notes in it to be collapsed so that I’m only seeing the first line instead of all dozen lines?

Or a clever workaround?

There are row height options for tables that let you standardize the row height or set a maximum. Does that do it?
