Hello, whilst trying to setup many tables I tried to use the duplicate table feature. Then I happily started to restructure the table. Only to my dismay when I was finished creating the new table, it had overwritten the old table as well. It seems the current duplicate table is just another view of the same data table.
To me this is quite counter-intuitive, a duplicate to me would be a deep copy, with no link to the original. just a copy of the data and the layout in a new table. This makes it easy to create lots of similar tables.
Instead of duplicate, the current feature maybe should have a different name, like “create new view” or something like that, and a new duplicate feature would be much appreciated. Thank you
