When I import a file (xlsx) into a document, It generates two new tables: One, which is what I imported (head+data). And other empty table, with the same “head”. This is new!
(The empty one, same “head” of “occurrence” table, just imported)

Hmm, that’s indeed surprising. I don’t see it with other xlsx documents. It’s possible for a sheet/tab to be hidden in Excel, but Grist would still import such tab. Is it possible that you have such a hidden tab?
Aha! You got it! I did have a hidden tab, in both spreadsheets… My fault. Sorry about that!
