I was wondering is there any way to modify table id, or clone a table with new table id.

The table ID is created from the table name, replacing spaces and non-alphanumeric characters with _.
To change the table name, you can click on the table name at the top of the table, then rename in the popup entry field. Be sure to save after the change.
If you wish to create a copy of a table that is not linked to the original, you can export the table as CSV then reimport, creating a new, unlinked table. Note that you will have to set up any choice or reference type columns as well as add any formulas. After importing, you can rename this table as desired, creating a unique table ID.
