Has anyone successfully been able to import an example template in their self-hosted environment? I’d like to use the ‘Portfolio Performance’ template for my own use, but I can’t find a way to export and import it into my environment. And I’ve been unsuccessful in recreating it manually.
And when visiting the Examples/Templates section locally, none are displayed.
The template I’m trying to recreate locally is: Portfolio Performance - Grist
Hi @Denis, you can use the “Download” option in “Save Copy” to get the template onto your own computer:
Then you can import it into your self-hosted environment with “Add new” → “Import document” on the home page of your site:

Just checking but this means that displaying the templates from getgrist on a self-hosted instance is not possible?
You could download those templates and put them in a workspace, or in a team site of their own. There’s a GRIST_TEMPLATE_ORG you can set if you want to show the contents of a team site as templates.
