Hi,
Its very common for CRM systems to connect to an email account to send emails. Will that be supported in the future?
Also, will time based emails be supported? Ex: If Today is Reminder Due Date, Send Email.

Hi KAM,
I’m not a Grist expert but I think this is currently possible using third-party automation software like n8n, see this webinar: https://www.getgrist.com/webinars/how-to-set-up-grist-automations-with-n8n/
If you’re using the full Grist edition, automations can send custom email notifications to users who have access to the document. For time-based triggers, you’ll need to use a third party integration like n8n for now.
If you’re on the Community edition, the webinar above showing how to do it with webhooks works.
Great, glad to know email notifications can be sent. It’d be nice to have time-based notifications without relying on third-party software as the email service itself is already the third-party integration, and pretty much every other tool I’ve used that supports sending email also supports scheduling/automation natively.
Will this be supported in the planned future?
Definitely on our radar, but no timeline at the moment.
